Asbury Park Housing Authority - Recently teamed with Nassau Capital Advisors to assist in the financing and redevelopment of 450 units of public housing units. The program will include RAD combined with 4% tax credits and tax exempt bonds.

 

Monterey County Housing Authority - development and financial consultant for 6 completed projects totaling 700-units owned and developed by the Authority's non-profit development corporation using low income housing tax credits, tax exempt bonds and a variety of other funding sources. Recently evaluated the feasibility of converting the existing housing stock to RAD and submitted 7 applications to RAD to complete the conversion.


 

Gore Consulting Group, Dallas TX - Structuring the financing for approximately 30 market-rate apartment projects totaling 6,000 units throughout the country utilizing HUD 221 (d)(4) and HUD 223 (f) Insurance programs.


 

Hoboken Housing Authority, NJ - Retained as a financial consultant by Nassau Capital Advisors (Princeton, NJ) to assist in the financing and redevelopment of 1,000 public housing units as part of a 10-year plan to replace the existing housing stock. Prepared the RAD feasibility analysis for the first phase of the program to be financed with 9% tax credits and RAD income stream.


 

The Todmorden Foundation, DE - Recently retained as a financial consultant and development advisor for the financing and redevelopment of 460 units of affordable housing in Wilmington, Delaware. The program will utilize 9% tax credits, 4% tax credits and tax-exempt bonds.


 

Other - Doherty is working with several private developers on student housing projects, the conversion of downtown office buildings into market-rate housing and other new construction apartment projects.
